Farnborough Rotary club is helping to save lives with the £2000 donation for a medical kit to the South East Coast ambulance service.

Rushmoor and Surrey Heath community responders now have a new kit, with a defibrillator, enabling a new responder to begin saving lives in the community.Farnborough Rotary club

The team of 23 volunteers have responded to over 1000 incidents since the beginning of this year including 20 cardiac/respiratory arrests.

Nick Seale, a Farnborough team leader said “It means a great deal to the whole team to receive this donation, it has enabled us to put another trained responder out on the road to assist the local ambulance service”.

The kit was presented by the Rotary president Pam Tunnicliffe, to the South East Coast ambulance service at a recent lunchtime gathering.
