Skittles Evening at the Jolly Farmer

The Club ‘rollerball’ evening arranged by president elect Geoff Robinshaw at the Jolly Farmer at Blacknest with meals in a basket backup was a great success. It was held on 31st January. It is reported that 50% of members partners and guests managed to make a strike. This was achieved without accidents to any of the participants and especially those responsible for replacing the skitttles ,which included a recent past president, and before the next deranged rotarian lined up for...

District Conference 2012 Bristol

From President Pam “Well, what a weekend!  Dave and I arrived about 4pm on Friday but now realise that we should have got there for the 2pm start as we missed some interesting speakers.  We weren’t the only people to arrive later in the day so there is no real guilt about that!  However, we settled in and went out for a meal with the accompanying Farnborough Rotarians – Tina, Sam, John & Liz Debenham and John & Pauline Grenham, plus a fairly large group from...

Farnborough Rotary Club, held a night of boxing at the Maida Gym in Aldershot last Saturday night, in aide of the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.. Also I took some photos too… A great night and we raised over £1600 Thanks to all who came, especially Sue Evans, Liz Howarth and Pam Minnet for all the cooking of the Neaps, tatties and other delicacies...
