The generosity of the people of Farnborough was well-demonstrated on Sunday 7th October when shoppers in Queensmead donated £500 for Shelterbox, a UK based disaster relief charity.   Members of Farnborough Rotary Club had on display the equipment used by Shelterbox and that is currently being distributed to the Indonesian families following the terrible earthquake and Tsunami on the island of Sulawesi. Farnborough Rotary Club has made a £300 donation to the Fountain Centre. The centre offers support and services to cancer patients and their families from all over Surrey and the surrounding areas.
