Today I proudly awarded one of our rotarians Mike White, A Paul Harris Fellowship Award in appreciation of all the hard work Mike has done on behalf of Farnborough Rotary Club and the other clubs that he has belonged to. Farnborough Rotary club will be organising collections this weekend. We hope to be collecting in Fanborough Town Center and also at the Meadows in Camberley, outside M&S. As I write, we have received the appropriate licenses from Rushmoor Borough Council and Bracknell Forest. We are waiting on an agreement fro Marks and Spencer I will report back how much we raise. Farnborough Rotary Club have unveiled a new clock to commemorate their 50th anniversary at the Princesmead Shopping Centre in Farnborough. Farnborough Rotary members got together for a great night out last night at Wings Chinese restaurant Farnborough. ShelterBox sends earthquake team

Courtesy of the BBC The Cornish charity ShelterBox has sent a disaster response team to the scene of an earthquake which struck central Italy earlier. The workers will report back on the level of aid needed. An initial 40 survival boxes containing tents, sleeping bags and cooking equipment are being sent out overnight from the charity’s Helston base.
